各位家长及社区友好人士：Dear Parents and Community Members,

为了提升学校的治理水平，保障学校长期稳定发展，并更好地服务于社区中文教育事业，三镇中文学校现根据华盛顿州非盈利组织法相关规定，正式启动首届理事会（Board of Directors）成员招募工作。To enhance the school’s governance, ensure long-term sustainable development, and better serve the community’s Chinese language education, Tri Cities Chinese Language School is officially launching the recruitment for its inaugural Board of Directors, in accordance with the Washington Nonprofit Corporation Act.

作为一所深耕社区、非营利性质的周末中文学校，我们诚邀富有责任感、专业技能及奉献精神的您加入，共同规划学校的未来。As a community-based, non-profit weekend Chinese school, we sincerely invite dedicated individuals with professional expertise and a spirit of service to join us in shaping the future of our school.

一、招募席位 | Vacant Positions

本次共招募理事会成员 4 名（与校长共同组成5人理事会）：We are seeking 4 board members (who, together with the Principal, will form a 5-member Board):

家长理事 (Parent Director): 2名 —— 须为本校在读学生家长。2 Positions — Must be a parent or legal guardian of a currently enrolled student.
社会独立理事 (Independent Director): 2名 —— 诚邀具备法律、财务、教育技术或社区公益背景的专业人士。2 Positions — Seeking professionals with backgrounds in Law, Finance, Educational Technology, or Community Service.

二、理事主要职责 | Key Responsibilities

战略参与 Strategic Participation: 审议学校年度发展规划及重大项目决策。Review and approve the school’s annual development plan and major project decisions.
财务监督 Financial Oversight: 审批年度预算、学费调整及重大开支，确保非盈利资金合规使用。Approve annual budgets, tuition adjustments, and major expenditures to ensure compliant use of non-profit funds.
合规治理 Compliance & Governance: 制定和完善学校各项规章制度（如利益冲突政策、隐私政策）。Develop and improve school policies (e.g., Conflict of Interest Policy, Privacy Policy).
资源对接 Community Liaison: 为学校提供专业建议，协助社区沟通与品牌建设。Provide professional advice and assist with community outreach and branding.
注 Note: 理事会成员为志愿者职位，不领取薪酬。Board positions are voluntary and uncompensated.

三、任职资格与要求 | Qualifications & Requirements

认同学校教育理念，热心公益事业。Alignment with the school's educational philosophy and a commitment to public service.
具备良好的沟通能力与团队协作精神。Strong communication skills and a spirit of teamwork.
合规要求 Compliance: 候选人须签署《利益冲突披露声明》。如候选人从事与学校业务相关的商业活动，需在申请时主动申报。Candidates must sign a "Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement." Any involvement in commercial activities related to the school’s operations must be disclosed upon application.
时间投入 Time Commitment: 预计每年参加多于一次约1.5-2小时的理事会议（线上或线下）。Attendance at yearly board meetings at least once (approx. 1.5–2 hours each, online or in-person).
任期：2 年（可连任一次）

Term: Two (2) years, renewable once

四、选举与产生程序 | Election & Selection Process

提交申请 Application: 请于 [2026年2月10日] 之前，将您的个人简历及简短的竞选陈述（200字以内）发送至：[ TCCLS2010@gmail.com ]。Please submit your resume and a brief candidate statement (under 200 words) to [ TCCLS2010@gmail.com ] by [ Feb 10^th, 2026 ].
资格审核 Review: 选举委员会将对申请人进行初步审核。The Election Committee will conduct a preliminary review of all applicants.

公示与选举 Publicity & Election:
家长理事 Parent Directors: 候选人名单及陈述将向全校公示。如有多人竞选，将由全体家长进行信任投票。The candidate list and statements will be publicized. If contested, a vote of confidence will be held among all parents.
社会理事 Independent Directors: 由筹备小组面试后，提交首届理事会会议通过。Selected through interviews with the Steering Committee and approved during the inaugural board meeting.
结果公布 Announcement: 正式当选名单将于 [2026年3月1日] 公布。The final list of elected members will be announced on [Mar 1^st , 2026].
